At Gratatim, our commitment is to help open lines of communication, caring for well-being, and extend compassion to your situation. We started this company because we understand firsthand what it's like to be a child in the hospital, and now as adults, we're dedicated to explaining long-term health to children. We know it never gets easier, but by constantly innovating and crafting the perfect tools, our goal is to empower you during these challenging times.

We firmly believe that by creating our story books, we can make a real difference in the lives of children, caregivers, and health professionals alike.

A Word from our CEO.

"I founded Gradatim in 2023, after finishing my MSc in Psychology of Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh. During my childhood I experienced the challenges of being under the care of health professionals. I understand the confusion and difficulties that children face, in addition to the stress parents are under in such situations. Health puts a strain on our relationships and well-being that can manifest into unhealthy behaviors in our life. As an ex educator and health worker I have seen first hand how effective education tools are to children and parents. These tools didn't exist 20 years ago, when myself and my parents would have benefited, and today they still don't...Until now."

"I believe that having the right tools in place can significantly ease these conversations, especially when it comes to discussing health matters with our own children in the future."

My Story

At Gradatim, we are dedicated to addressing the lack of tools available to parents, carers, educators, and health professionals when it comes to explaining complex care and treatment to young children.

Our primary focus at Gradatim is creating picture books specifically designed for children under the age of 5. This age group often experiences a higher occurrence of illness and disability, making it particularly challenging to effectively communicate complex information to them. Through our multi-book series, we aim to guide children through their journey from diagnosis to recovery or management, ensuring they have a better understanding of their condition.

At Gradatim, we are committed to creating resources that empower children, parents, carers, educators, and health professionals alike. Our picture books are thoughtfully crafted to bridge the gap in understanding and foster open conversations about health. We believe that by providing the right tools early on, we can help shape a generation of informed and resilient individuals who are better equipped to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.
